The Love Of God

Words can't truly describe the depth of God's love, but we can know it through His Son Jesus Christ.

It was many years ago, I wanted to know if God really existed. I cried out in agony and asked are you real God or am I just speaking to the air! I begged Him to show me if He was real. I needed to know the truth!

I still smile as I remember how God answered my plea! It was after I called out to Him, I felt this gentle push and leading me to our living room closet where I had tossed a Bible someone had given me. As I sat down and opened the Bible (KJV) my eyes found these words...

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 the King James Version

The words of Christ spoke to my heart! The joy I felt was undescribable! To this day I still have that joy. 

God doesn't ask or demand that we get our "act" together or until we're "good enough" for His love. He offers His love through faith in His Son Jesus Christ just as we are. We only have to say "yes" to Him!
